Allied Power Group breaks ground to expand operations in Houston.

HOUSTON, TEXAS - June 4, 2009

Allied Power Group, a leading industrial gas turbine parts and repairs company, is constructing a new 70,000 sq. ft. building that will centralize company headquarters, sales, repairs and warehousing in one location. It will allow Allied to expand its product line to include Westinghouse 501F turbine parts and extend their repair capabilities to steam turbines. In addition, the expansion will bring as many as 100 new jobs to the Houston area.

"The unique value of Allied Power Group is that we provide both turbine replacement parts and expert repairs all from a single, proven source," said CEO Bruce Agardy. "Our new facility will allow us to truly be a one-stop shop for turbine owners."

The new Houston facility is scheduled to be completed in December 2009. Once complete, Allied Power Group will close its other locations in Houston (17,500 sq. ft.) and Coconut Creek, FL (6,000 sq. ft.) as the leases expire.
