Coconut Creek, Florida - December 12, 2007
Allied Power Group was named No. 590 on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing privately held companies in the United States. The company reported a three-year revenue growth of 542.8%, from $1.9 million in 2003 to $12.5 million in 2006. Inc. also ranked Allied Power Group No. 14 in the Top Companies in Miami-Fort Lauderdale-Miami Beach, FL; and No. 19 in the Top Companies in Energy.
Allied Power Group repairs oil and gas turbines in the U.S. and supplies owners with replacement parts. The Company has leverage several external factors to accelerate its success. As coal falls out of favor, gas turbines have increased in popularity. In addition, the continual deregulation of U.S.-produced energy sources has allowed for more competitive pricing in non-OEM products.
According to CEO Bruce Agardy, "In 2000, we identified an emerging opportunity in energy and we began positioning ourselves to meet the demands of the current environment. Today, that strategy is benefiting our customers and our company."
Allied Power Group continues to grow its revenue at an exponential pace. 2007 revenue is scheduled to top $20+ million. In addition, the Company is developing a new building that will help Allied Power Group meet customer demand and enhance operations.
